Why does KuCoin need a passphrase as well as a key and secret?
The passphrase is part of KuCoin's API security model — you set it when creating the key, and it's required with every API call. TradeInsights stores all three values encrypted.
Is the connection read-only?
Yes. Grant only the 'General' permission when creating the key — no trading or transfer scopes — and KuCoin enforces it server-side. TradeInsights never needs more than read access.
Does it handle the long tail of alt pairs?
Yes — every pair you've traded imports, and analytics break performance out per pair so you can see exactly which alts pay and which drain.
What about coins I bought and just held?
