Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your TradeInsights subscription at any time through your account settings (Settings → Subscription) or by contacting us at info@tradeinsights.io.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to the Service until then.
  • After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier. Your data remains accessible on the free plan.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

2. General Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable except in the circumstances described in Section 3 below.

  • No pro-rated refunds are provided for the unused portion of a billing period after cancellation.
  • Downgrading from a higher plan to a lower plan does not entitle you to a refund of the price difference for the current period.

3. Refund Exceptions

Refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Billing errors: Duplicate charges or charges for the incorrect amount caused by our systems.
  • Service outages: Prolonged service unavailability exceeding 72 consecutive hours that is directly attributable to TradeInsights and not to third-party services or force majeure events.
  • Unauthorised charges: Charges that you did not authorise and reported within 30 days of the charge.

To request a refund under any of the above exceptions, contact info@tradeinsights.io within 14 days of the charge with a description of the issue.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email info@tradeinsights.io with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your account email address, the charge date, the amount, and a description of the issue.
  3. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and credited back to your original payment method.

5. Cryptocurrency Payments

Subscriptions paid in cryptocurrency are subject to the same general refund policy as card payments (Sections 2–4 above), with the following crypto-specific terms:

  • Approved refunds are returned in the same coin and on the same network as the original payment (e.g. USDT-TRC20 in, USDT-TRC20 out). We do not convert between coins or networks for refunds.
  • The refund amount is the original coin amount received, less network (gas) fees required to send the refund. We do not adjust for changes in the coin's USD price between the payment and the refund.
  • Refunds are sent to the original sending address unless that address is no longer accessible (e.g. an exchange deposit address that has been closed). In that case, please provide a replacement address you control during the refund request.
  • Processing time: approved crypto refunds are broadcast to the network within 5 business days. On-chain confirmation depends on the network (typically minutes to a few hours).
  • Wrong network sends: If you send a coin to an address on a network we do not support for that coin (e.g. USDT on Polygon when only TRC-20 / ERC-20 / BEP-20 are supported), recovery is rarely possible. Always verify the network before sending. Contact info@tradeinsights.io immediately if this occurs; we will attempt recovery on a best-efforts basis but cannot guarantee it.
  • Underpayments: If a transaction is received for less than the invoiced amount, your subscription does not activate. You may either send the shortfall to the same address (within the price-lock window) or request a refund of the partial amount under this section.
  • Expired price quotes: Crypto price quotes are locked for 2 hours from the time an address is issued. Payments received after the lock expires are credited at the prevailing rate at the time of receipt, which may activate a different plan tier or leave a balance.

6. Automatic Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the then-current subscription price unless you cancel before the renewal date.

You will receive an email reminder before your subscription renews. To prevent automatic renewal, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date through Settings → Subscription.

7. Free Trials

If you activate a free trial, no charge is made during the trial period. At the end of the trial, if you have not subscribed, your account returns to the free tier automatically — no cancellation required and no charge is made.

8. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us at info@tradeinsights.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved quickly and directly.

Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account and may be reported to payment processors.

9. Pricing Changes

TradeInsights reserves the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes via email or prominent notice on the Platform. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
